Just hours old — and already changing faster than you can hold onto.

You just love on them — I’ll capture every bit of it.

What a Fresh 48 Session Really Captures

In those first 24–48 hours

A Fresh 48 session takes place shortly after your baby arrives — while you’re still at the hospital, in those first hours when everything is brand new.

This is the beginning — when you’re meeting them for the first time, learning their little features, and holding onto moments that won’t stay this way for long.

Just as you are

There’s nothing you need to prepare ahead of time. Some moms choose to bring a special robe, birthing gown, or matching pajamas — but there’s absolutely no pressure to feel put together most mothers keep it simple — lightly brushed hair, maybe a touch of makeup.

Nothing extravagant, nothing fancy.

I work with the natural light in your room and gently document what’s already happening — whether you’re resting, feeding your baby, or simply holding them close.

Real Moments, Not Posed Ones

This isn’t a posed newborn session. I won’t be positioning your baby or asking you to perform for the camera.

Instead, I gently guide you in a natural way — no heavy posing or stiff direction.

I may move you around the room to find the best light, while

still capturing what’s naturally happening. Feeding, changing, skin-to-skin, quiet snuggles, your partner’s hands, siblings meeting baby — all of it, exactly as it unfolds.

I work with the natural light in your room and document it all, just as it is.

The Details + The Feeling

Along with all the love happening in the room, I’ll also capture the tiny details that change so quickly — their features, hospital bands, blankets, bassinet, and the way they fit so perfectly in your arms.

The little things that might not seem important now, but will mean everything later.

You don’t need to do anything except be there with your baby — I’ll capture the wonder of thier first hours.
